SUPPLIES ON THEIR WAY
VOLUNTEER LEAVING TONIGHT FOR HAITI

What: Morrow is traveling to Haiti bringing Rescue Task Force team much needed additional supplies.


When: Today – Friday, January 22, 2010 7:30 p.m. – Morrow available for press  tonight 7:30 p.m.  – Continental Airlines Terminal


Where: Continental Airlines, San Diego Terminal


VISUALS: Morrow will be boarding a plane with much needed supplies – supplies requested from the RTF team currently “on the ground” in Haiti.


World Emergency Relief’s Rescue Task Force has pleaded for additional supplies, and we are on our way to deliver the much needed medicine, food, first-aid kits, and other essential humanitarian relief items for immediate distribution.


Chris Morrow with CNN iReport has been following the team from preparation, departure, arrival and relief efforts on the ground.


Once in Miami, Morrow will board a charter flight containing other relief supplies and fly directly into Port-au-Prince. There, she will connect with the RTF team.


The Rescue Task Force team, along with Morrow, will continue to distribute relief supplies previously secured.
