RESCUE TASK FORCE TEAM,
SAFELY ARRIVE IN THE DOMINICAN REPUBLIC

World Emergency Relief’s “Rescue Task Force” team, safely arrived in the Dominican Republic on the first leg of its emergency relief efforts into Port-au-Prince, Haiti.

Rescue Task Force’s “boots-on-the-ground” team leader Darryl Hall said, “We’re here and ready to provide emergency care with our in-country partners.” Hall emphasized that getting needed medicine to the US embassy is the first priority of Rescue Task Force.

Medical supplies the team is carrying, include 400 doses of desperately needed calcium chloride to treat crush syndrome. This medicine prevents fatal blood poisoning which can develop after a victim has been rescued from the crushing weight of a collapsed structure.

The Rescue Task Force team will also provide immediate assistance to International Faith Mission (IFM) who is providing medical aid to many of the wounded in the streets. IFM works with one of Rescue Task Force’s global partners providing medical help on an on-going basis.

Hall related that the team also plans to distribute food and provide support to the 2,000 hungry, homeless, mostly children, who depend upon our partner office (World Emergency Relief-UK) for their daily needs.

Please keep our team in your thoughts and prayers as they face chaos and danger.

Rescue Task Force needs your help. Please donate to help those who really need it!

Rescue Task Force needs your assistnace to help those in Haiti waiting for us. Victims of this catastrophic disaster are in great need of supplies and help that only an experienced, dedicated, compassionate relief team can provide.  Rescue Task Force is on the way.

Many who have lost have little hope for tomorrow. Rescue Task Force brings more than hope. We bring solutions to a desperate situation. For those who have lost their family, their homes, their futures… we are there – You are there.

The answer to hope comes in many forms – to some it may come in the form of first aid. It may come in the form of Tylenol or anti-diarrhea medicine. The answer may be in the form of a warm meal, water, or shelter. Or, it may be in the form of someone caring. It may be knowing that people have left the comforts of their home and security of their country to put themselves at risk to save others. The answer to hope may be as simple as a hug.

When the answer to hope is served, we will be there to deliver it.

We help bring hope to the victims of this tragedy.
Please keep our team in your thoughts and prayers as they face chaos, danger and destruction.

Please help with our ongoing relief efforts by donating to Rescue Task Force.

There are many organizations that are responding, many that are asking for support… Rescue Task Force has been, doing relief “Around the World, Around the Clock” for over 20 years. We work on very low overhead and we make a difference – a huge difference – getting your donations to those who really need it!

The more money we raise, the more lives we can save.
